What sizes are available?
RootWave Rice Straws are manufactured in 4 distinct calibers: 6.5MM (Cocktail & Soft Drinks), 8MM (Café, Cold Brew & Iced Lattes), 10MM (Smoothies & Shakes), and 13MM (Jumbo Boba with beveled tip). Each is available both with and without protective individual paper sleeves.
What colors are available?
All RootWave rice straws are available in 6 natural plant-derived colors: Black (activated coconut charcoal), White (unbleached rice), Red (beetroot), Green (pandan leaf), Yellow (turmeric), and Orange (carrot beta-carotene). Zero artificial synthetic food dyes are used.
How long does the straw stay strong?
RootWave straws remain completely firm for up to 1 hour without getting soggy or losing structural integrity in active drinks. In cold beverages (0–15°C) they reliably hold form for 4–6+ hours, and in warm beverages (50–80°C) for 45 minutes to 3 hours.
Are the straws edible?
Yes, 100% edible. They are produced from 70–75% food-grade rice flour, 24–30% tapioca cassava starch, natural botanicals, and mineral water. Customers can safely sip their beverage and eat the crunchy straw afterwards.
Do you offer custom branding?
Yes. For our individually sleeved products, custom commercial branding, logo imprints, QR codes, and brand typography can be printed on the paper sleeve wrapper for bulk enterprise orders.
Do you offer sleeved straws?
Yes. Every size is available with an individual food-grade paper sleeve for an additional ₹0.30 per straw. Sleeved straws provide maximum hygiene for takeaway cups, self-serve counters, and hospitality tables.
How are the straws packaged?
Straws are hygienically packed into moisture-barrier inner packets (60 to 200 pcs depending on diameter) and consolidated into heavy-duty corrugated master cartons (1,200 to 3,000 pcs per carton) for safe nationwide freight.
Do you offer bulk orders?
Yes. We supply master cartons, multi-carton pallets, and monthly container shipments directly from our Bengaluru production works to hotel chains, café franchises, and export distributors.
Is GST included in the price?
No. All listed prices are bulk ex-factory wholesale base rates. Applicable 5% GST is charged extra on the final invoice as clearly noted.
Are delivery charges included?
No. Delivery freight charges are calculated extra depending on your destination city, shipment weight, and chosen transport courier/cargo partner.
